Daniel Rabahy is President of American Dryer. Daniel has been instrumental in leading the company to the introduction of the revolutionary ExtremeAir Cold Plasma Clean (CPC) hand dryer, as well as to the full range of American Dryer dryers and accessories that meet customer needs worldwide. Daniel believes strongly that excellent engineering and a keen eye for industry demands – including restroom hygiene, energy efficiency, sound and speed management, and accessibility for all users – will continue to differentiate American Dryer. Daniel recognizes that customer loyalty is built not simply by meeting but by exceeding expectations, and his management of American Dryer is predicated on doing just that. In addition, Daniel’s operations acuity gives the company a unique advantage from the inception of a product to the completion of each unit, earning American Dryer its reputation for high quality products delivered with unparalleled same-day service.
Daniel has been president of American Dryer since 1999. Prior to that, he served as Vice President. He began his tenure with the company as Plant Manager over 30 years ago. Michael Robert is American Dryer’s Vice President of Sales & Technology. Michael holds numerous patents related to electronic and electro-mechanical controls. His design work has helped to bring American Dryer to the forefront of the hand dryer industry. Michael joined the company in 1998 as Vice President of Technology. He has three decades of experience in electrical and mechanical product design. Previously, Michael was President and Partner of Electro Pneumatic Innovations (EPI), an automotive tooling supplier.
Daniel’s sister, Susan Ebbing, served the company as Vice President of Sales from 1997 until her retirement at the end of 2013.
American Dryer, Inc. was established in 1952 and has been creating quality hand dryers for over 60 years. In 1985, Donald Rabahy, Daniel’s father, achieved his dream of owning his own business when he purchased American Dryer. Today, Donald Rabahy serves as Chairman of American Dryer.
For over 30 years, Donald and Daniel have steadily grown American Dryer. Well-executed expansions quality improvements and innovative new products have insured the ongoing success of the company.
In 1967, Donald joined MASCO Corporation first as Corporate Controller and later as Corporate Vice President. As part of the management team, Donald helped sales skyrocket from 25 million dollars annually to those of a Fortune 500 giant. In 1998, Donald established the Rabahy Foundation to assist underprivileged children and their families for generations to come.
In July 2007, Donald and his wife, Rosemary, were honored by the United States Congress and received a Congressional Resolution acknowledging their contributions to both industry and the community.
